School-Based SLP

About This Role

Provide diagnostic assessments, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring to support speech and language development for students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in Chesapeake, VA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Support students in improving articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills

Requirements

• Valid SLP licensure to practice in Virginia
• Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
