Lead, manage, and hold a sales team accountable for achieving revenue goals and driving consistent, profitable growth within the concrete and building materials industry. This strategic role involves coaching the sales team, engaging with key customers, and playing a central part in the company's expansion across Florida and the Southeast.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and hold the sales team accountable to performance expectations and results
- Establish clear goals, activity standards, and performance metrics for all sales team members
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to support individual and team success
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, pipeline reviews, and performance evaluations
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives
- Monitor sales performance and adjust tactics to stay on pace with targets
- Support major customer pursuits, negotiations, and long-term relationship management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, DOT representatives, and municipalities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both Direct and Wholesale channels
- Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline reporting, and sales forecasts
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems, including MS Office applications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record. 5 years in concrete, building materials, or related industries preferred.
