The Sales Manager will be responsible for prospecting and building relationships with clients in the construction industry. This role focuses on closing new business, expanding existing accounts, and managing a sales territory while partnering with an operations team to ensure client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and build relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and superintendents
- Meet clients face-to-face at job sites and offices
- Consistently close new business and expand current accounts
- Partner with the operations team to ensure job site coverage and client satisfaction
- Manage a book of business and grow your sales territory
- Attend networking events such as golf tournaments, clay shoots, and lunch & learns
Requirements
- Comfortable on a construction site or walking into a GC’s trailer
- Grit, hustle, and a love for face-to-face relationship building
- Organized, proactive, and motivated by commission
- Basic tech skills (CRM, email, texting platforms)
Nice to Have
- Staffing, construction, or trades-related sales experience
