About This Role

Sell airfield products, services, and solutions to new and existing customers directly, while establishing and maintaining customer relationships within the Northwest United States.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales plans for airports to exceed revenue, retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key account decision-makers.
  • Develop a complete understanding of account organizational structures and buying influences.
  • Perform client presentations articulating the value proposition of product/solution/service offerings.
  • Create sales or service contracts for products or services.
  • Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including RFPs.
  • Recommend improved products to customers, documenting how changes lower costs or increase efficiencies.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospects.
  • Provide technical and non-technical support to clients or staff regarding equipment use, operation, and maintenance.
  • Research and identify potential customers for products or services.
  • Provide management with suggestions for improving volume, market share, and price levels.
  • Keep informed on industry news, trends, products, services, competitors, and emerging technologies.
  • Coordinate customer RFI/RFPs, process quotes, and pricing contracts, including negotiations.
  • Follow-up and report on customers’ wins/losses and forecast commitments via CRM.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical sales position
  • Knowledge of purchase orders and contract terms and conditions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a broad spectrum of potential customers
  • Detailed knowledge of the post-acquisition process
  • Ability to travel up to 50% - 70%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years of successful experience in a technical sales position or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Background in commercial, industrial lighting or commercial electrical products or airfield lighting
  • Knowledge of ADB Safegate Products & Solution portfolio
  • Expert knowledge of ADB Safegate Product & Solution portfolio
  • Former military preferred
