About This Role

Lead and manage the project sales team to achieve company sales goals and objectives. Oversee workload management, customer volume reporting, and margin management, while fostering strong relationships with Account Executives and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Minneapolis-based new business development team and project-based Account Executives
  • Strategize on present and future positioning of Fluid Interiors in the marketplace with the CRO
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, onboarding, and training of sales team members
  • Develop and manage performance of Account Executives through regular 1:1 meetings and annual performance planning
  • Participate in creating and enhancing organizational culture and accountability
  • Manage existing quarterly/annual business reviews with Account Executives and their top customers
  • Implement Fluid sales strategies including 80/20, top manufacturer alliances, and discounting/margin strategies
  • Host quarterly customer volume meetings with AE teams to analyze margin data
  • Participate in proposal response team meetings for strategic and profitable RFP responses
  • Oversee daily interactions within the sales team and manage customer feedback

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in the commercial furniture industry, commercial real estate, design or construction
  • Ability to pass a criminal background screening
  • Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3+ years sales experience in the commercial furniture, commercial real estate, design, or construction industry
