Sales Manager

About This Role

This role involves developing, leading, and executing the sales strategy for Hunt Valve, a provider of Navy and industrial valves. The manager will increase customer focus, expand sales through direct and indirect channels, and grow the business profitably.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key Navy accounts and Industrial clients
• Research market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats
• Implement a robust sales system with strong processes, standard work, data analytics and KPIs
• Lead costing and pricing efforts
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales targets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 6-10 years of relevant business background including sales, marketing, or product management
• A strong understanding of the market, products, service offerings and customer base or the ability to quickly learn
• Experience in development, implementation and execution of a sales strategy and system
• Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers, employees and sales representatives
• Very Proficient in Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills – active listener, clear and concise communicator (both oral and written)
• Proven collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 6-10 years of relevant business background including sales, marketing, or product management
