About This Role

This role involves leading sales efforts and ensuring an excellent customer journey by using optical knowledge to meet eyewear needs. You will be instrumental in achieving daily sales goals and executing operational activities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring excellent execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
  • Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
  • Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continuous training and development
  • Troubleshoot eyewear needs as necessary
  • Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals
  • Open and close the store as needed (LEAD positions only)

Requirements

  • 12 months optical experience (within Visionworks or other organization) OR ABO Certification
  • HS diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience
  • Ability to maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed
