Promote and sell RR Donnelley's products and services, including Commercial Print, Packaging, Labels, and Direct Mail, to achieve significant sales targets. Generate revenue by creating sales leads, initiating prospect calls, and establishing ongoing rapport with new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Pursue sales leads and visit existing and new strategic customers
- Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
- Respond to complex customer inquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times, and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets
- Identify, research, and contact prospective customers to build relationships and generate future sales and repeat business
- Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and competitor activity information to appropriate internal contacts
- Develop long-term sales plans for key customers and adapt sales activities to meet objectives
- Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize activities to meet targets
- Coach and mentor less experienced sales representatives to achieve sales targets
- Recommend additional company solutions and services to clients, highlighting advantages
- Partner with internal resources to execute targeted deliverables in a timely manner
- Provide extraordinary internal and external customer service throughout the sales process
- Forecast accurately and maintain the system of record in Salesforce.com
Requirements
- 3 years of relevant work experience in sales
- Ability to present to C-Level and Senior Management Executives
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Clear knowledge of the selling cycle with the ability to make cold calls on a daily basis
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to function of work
- 3 years of relevant work experience in sales
