Sales Consultant

About This Role

This role involves executing property marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and retention goals. The Sales Consultant acts as a primary contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process and ensuring resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve property revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
• Collect pertinent information from prospective residents at move-in.
• Stay informed about market and competitor conditions, developing and implementing marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities and events to drive property traffic, utilizing internet marketing tools and referral programs.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, record traffic, manage resident data, and analyze demographic information.
• Ensure property and show units meet company standards for quality by daily inspection and communicating maintenance needs.
• Follow-up with prospects and new residents within 24 hours to ensure satisfaction and document all follow-ups.
• Execute activities in support of the property's lease renewal program, preparing renewal letters and ensuring timely signing.
• Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client concerns, taking action or documenting requests.
• Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents and prospects with respect, answering questions, and responding to complaints.
• Attend community and networking events, participate in outreach marketing efforts to generate leads.
• Complete various financial, administrative, and other reports, and assist with event setup as required.
