About This Role

Execute property marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and resident retention goals for an active adult community. Guide prospective residents through the leasing process and support resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve property revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease documents
  • Collect all pertinent information from prospective residents at move-in and record as appropriate
  • Stay informed about current market and competitor conditions and develop marketing plans to sustain occupancy
  • Design and execute marketing activities and events to drive traffic to the property, including referral and outreach programs
  • Utilize property management software to track availability, record traffic, manage resident data, and analyze information
  • Ensure property and show units meet company standards for show quality by daily inspection and communication with maintenance
  • Follow-up with prospects and new residents within 24 hours to ensure satisfaction and document all follow-ups
  • Execute activities in support of the property’s lease renewal program, preparing letters and ensuring timely signing
  • Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client concerns, taking action to solve problems or document requests
  • Demonstrate customer service skills by treating all individuals with respect, answering questions, and responding to complaints
  • Attend community and networking events and participate in outreach marketing efforts to drive traffic and generate leads
  • Complete various financial, administrative, and other reports and perform duties as assigned or necessary
  • Assist Lifestyle Coordinator by attending and assisting with setup of events as required

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of sales, marketing, internet, and customer service experience
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Mathematical skills necessary to process sales conversions
  • Ability to apply sales skills
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, property management applications, and database management programs
  • Proficiency and fluency in using the internet for marketing, advertising, and sales

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in sales, marketing, internet and customer service background
