Greystar is looking for a hard-working individual to join our team as a Sales Consultant. This role is responsible for the property's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve the property’s revenue and occupancy goals
- Collect all pertinent information from prospective residents at move-in and record as appropriate
- Stay informed about current market and competitor conditions
- Design and execute marketing activities and events to create and drive traffic to the property
- Use property management software to track apartment availability, record traffic, and manage data
- Ensure the property and show units meet the Company’s standards for show quality
- Follow-up with prospects and new residents within 24 hours to ensure satisfaction
- Execute activities in support of the property’s lease renewal program
- Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns and questions
- Attend community and networking events, participate in outreach marketing efforts
- Complete various financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis
- Assist Lifestyle Coordinator by attending and assisting with the setup of events
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of sales, marketing, internet, and customer service experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Mathematical skills necessary to process sales conversions
- Ability to apply sales skills
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, property management applications, and database management programs
- Proficiency and fluency in using the internet for marketing, advertising, and sales
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in sales, marketing, internet and customer service
