Sales Associate with Food Services for Doña Tota

About This Role

Join OXXO USA as a Sales Associate with Food Services, preparing and serving authentic Mexican gorditas and other fresh food offerings at a retail location. Provide excellent customer service while contributing to a warm and welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and assemble Doña Tota menu items, including gorditas and other fresh food offerings, following company recipes and quality standards
• Ensure all food items are made fresh, properly handled, and consistently presented throughout the day
• Provide excellent customer service—greeting guests, taking orders, answering product questions, and ensuring satisfaction
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness in all food prep and service areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control guidelines in compliance with health regulations and company policies
• Assist with restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and rotating products to maintain freshness
• Handle register transactions accurately and efficiently
• Keep dining and service areas clean, organized, and inviting
• Promote the Doña Tota brand by sharing enthusiasm for authentic Mexican food and providing a great experience for every guest

Requirements

• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move product, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, positive attitude with a focus on great customer experiences
• Commitment to food quality, safety, and cleanliness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• One (1) or more years of experience in food service, restaurant, or retail with food handling (preferred)
