Store Manager

About This Role

Lead a retail store team to deliver exceptional customer service and maximize profitability for OXXO USA. Oversee operations including inventory management, sales, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Manage employees and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Ensure all hours of operation are covered and supported, including recruiting and retention
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
• Conduct regular stock checks and work with suppliers for timely product delivery
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store
• Provide excellent customer service and set a positive tone for the store environment
• Manage store financials
• Collaborate with District Manager and other Retail Store Managers to share best practices
• Recruit, train, and mentor store employees, fostering a positive work environment
• Provide ongoing training development to enhance team performance and career growth
• Maximize store merchandise and fuel sales and achieve budgeted store expectations
• Teach and emulate proper customer service and suggestive selling techniques
• Communicate sales and profitability goals to store associates and provide feedback
• Assign tasks, follow up, and counsel employees for not adhering to policies
• Help and aid in the recruitment of potential candidates
• Manage and resolve customer issues and conflicts professionally
• Unload deliveries, organize merchandise, and keep shelves stocked

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in a retail environment
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle insurance
• Previous leadership experience
• Schedule flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work a minimum of 48 hours per week
• Form of communication to be reached
• Ability to lift, stand, and remain active for the duration of the shift

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years’ experience working in a retail environment
