About This Role

Drive revenue growth, expand customer relationships, and champion Cayenta's reputation as a trusted CIS/ERP partner for public utilities. This role balances new business development with account advocacy, ensuring customer success and contributing to a positive corporate culture.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth to meet business targets through industry value-based initiatives
  • Identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities within assigned territory
  • Develop and execute territory sales and identify ideas for innovation and growth
  • Accurately forecast deal closing timelines and maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems
  • Protect revenue and ensure the health of customer relationships by acting as an advocate for accounts
  • Execute quarterly business reviews with multiple stakeholders at each aligned account
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and drive adoption of Cayenta solutions
  • Establish and nurture relationships within customer organizations, especially at director and executive levels
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cayenta’s evolving CIS/ERP solutions
  • Participate in industry conferences, user groups, and professional organizations to stay current and expand market knowledge

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software sales experience, ideally in public sector CIS/ERP or utility environments
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals and managing complex sales cycles
  • Strong understanding of public utilities workflows and enterprise solution technology
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and accurate forecasting
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Valid passport/visa required for international travel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of software sales experience, ideally in public sector CIS/ERP or utility environments
