This Business Analyst role involves examining, creating, and documenting functional requirements for corrections software, acting as a liaison between business and R&D teams, and ensuring alignment with changing industry needs.
Responsibilities
- Examine and create functional requirements for corrections software
- Examine and document new or revised product, program, service, or process
- Document, validate and manage requirements from stakeholders
- Partner closely with the Product Owner, Project Managers, Development and QA teams
- Create comprehensive use cases and acceptance criteria for new or revised products
- Act as a bridge between business and R&D teams
- Follow and adjust to changing requirements in the corrections industry
- Work on documentation, release notes and some other documents
- Help Project Managers and Sales
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analytics tools
- Knowledge of development cycle including QA
- Knowledge of Agile Development
