Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care within a 30-bed Med/Surg unit, coordinating with other departments while maintaining professional accountability and patient confidentiality. This role offers night shifts on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision
- Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients
- Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
- Care for a variety of patients including GI & Oncology, Post-Op Recovery, COPD & Pneumonia, UTI & Dehydration, and Complex Wound Care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a RN
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS - Basic Life Support (or within 30 days of hire)
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a RN required
