About This Role

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks within the healthcare facility, ensuring compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining a healthy and hygienic environment for patient healing and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements
• Promote a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being

Requirements

• Physical ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Physical ability for prolonged standing and walking each shift
• Physical ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

• No experience required.

Nice to Have

• Prior Hospital Environmental service experience
• Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions
• Previous experience with performing manual tasks
• Prior experience working with the public; customer service
