Environmental Services Technician II

About This Role

Perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure patient rooms, offices, and hallways within the hospital are clean and well-maintained. Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed, playing a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of an Environmental Services Technician I
• Buff, strip, wax and polish floors
• Move furniture and other heavy objects as required
• Shampoo rugs and furniture
• Clean vents, fans, and other equipment using vacuum machines
• Operate mechanical floor cleaners, polishers, and vacuums
• Set up chairs and tables for special events and store them afterwards
• Move large items in and out of storage
• Perform custodial/housekeeping duties as assigned
• Assist in handling drapes and dividers for cleaning

Requirements

• Less than 1 year relevant experience
• Ability to read, write, understand and speak English satisfactorily

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year relevant experience
