Medical Assistant - Primary Care Clinic

About This Role

This Medical Assistant collaborates with primary care providers and the clinical care team to deliver safe, timely, and patient-centered care. The role focuses on driving quality outcomes for patients within a primary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way.
• Partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months of clinical healthcare experience (preferred), preferably in a primary care office.

Nice to Have

• 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
• Active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA)
