About This Role

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a senior living community, oversee health services, and ensure resident well-being and independence. This role involves clinical oversight, staff leadership, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, develop person-centered service plans, and monitor residents' health status
• Ensure timely documentation in the EHR and follow-up on significant changes in condition
• Support with training, evaluating, and mentoring licensed and unlicensed staff
• Oversee onboarding, performance reviews, delegation of tasks, and ensure team member compliance with regulatory and HIPAA standards
• Serve as a clinical liaison for residents and families, participating in care conferences and advocating for resident needs
• Monitor infection control, incident reporting, and medication management
• Partner with Director of Clinical Care and quality teams to support audits, staff training, and community compliance

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Minnesota
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
• Ability to pass state mandated background checks
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care preferred.

• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with MN Assisted Living regulations and Electronic Health Records (EHR)
