This Registered Nurse role at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital involves utilizing the nursing process to provide direct and indirect patient care, developing unique education and care plans, and supporting family members. The nurse will address the appropriate needs of all patients and direct ancillary staff.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation) to provide direct and indirect patient care
- Address the appropriate needs of all patients based on assigned area(s)
- Follow nursing department philosophies, policies and procedures to develop unique education and care plans for each patient
- Provide appropriate education and support for family members
- Utilize judgment, knowledge and understanding of patient and family needs when directing ancillary staff
Requirements
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in field of Nursing preferred
