Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

About This Role

Utilize the nursing process to provide direct and indirect patient care based on assigned areas, addressing the needs of all patients. Develop unique education and care plans, provide family education and support, and direct ancillary staff.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation) to provide direct and indirect patient care
• Address the appropriate needs of all patients
• Follow nursing department philosophies, policies and procedures
• Develop unique education and care plans for each patient
• Provide appropriate education and support for family members
• Utilize judgment, knowledge and understanding of patient and family needs when directing ancillary staff

Requirements

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in field of Nursing preferred.
