Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

About This Role

This role provides direct clinical patient care, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients on a per shift and unit level.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level
• Supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated
• Support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care
• Provide proficient, age specific, professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with legal, Hospital practice and departmental policies and procedures, established standards of nursing care and practice, and as defined by the State of Tennessee Board of Nursing

Requirements

• RN with current applicable state licensure / permit
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• BLS Certification upon hire
