RN - Telemetry

About This Role

Provide direct and indirect patient care within a telemetry unit at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, utilizing the nursing process to develop unique education and care plans for patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation) to provide direct and indirect patient care
• Address the appropriate needs of all patients based on assigned areas
• Follow nursing department philosophies, policies and procedures to develop unique education and care plans for each patient
• Provide appropriate education and support for family members
• Utilize judgment, knowledge and understanding of patient and family needs when directing ancillary staff

Requirements

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
