About This Role

This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Women Services, responsible for providing consistent, safe, and high-quality care to laboring patients from admission to post-delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent, safe, high quality care of all laboring patients assigned from admission to post delivery
  • Familiarity with vaginal and C-section births
  • Perform fetal monitoring and provide care for patients who receive various types of anesthesia
  • Demonstrate expertise in providing care for patient during PACU period
  • Provide newborn care during the first two hours of life
  • Participate in an on-call schedule

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years recent RN experience in Women Services (L&D, Mother Baby, Antepartum)
  • Demonstrated ability to care for women of childbearing age and infants up to four (4) years old

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree is required - BSN required within 24 months of hire/transfer into RN position
  • Minimum of three (3) years recent experience as an RN in Women Services in a hospital environment (L&D, Mother Baby, Antepartum)
