About This Role

The professional registered nurse (RN) plans, coordinates, and manages the care for assigned patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to create a comprehensive plan of care and achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage the care provided to assigned patients
• Practice under the tenets of Centra's Professional Practice Model
• Act as the leader in collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team
• Provide the foundation for creating the interdisciplinary plan of care
• Coordinate various care processes necessary to achieve desired outcomes
• Delegate tasks as appropriate
• Promote and sustain a culture reflective of Centra's best practices for quality and service
• Create and maintain a safe patient environment
• Contribute to a healthy work environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or current multistate licensure privilege
• Current, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) course completion card

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• New Grad or one year of external nursing experience
