Rehab Aide

About This Role

Assist and support in the evaluation and treatment of patients in acute care and acute rehab settings, working under the direction of licensed therapists.

Responsibilities

• Initiate setup for therapy intervention
• Follow direction of therapists for providing patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and/or other departments
• Perform restorative program plan of care for patients under supervision of a licensed therapist
• Clean and sanitize rehab equipment following Centra infection prevention guidelines
• Assist Manager and Supervisor with monitoring equipment inventory
• Assist in maintaining therapy spaces to meet TJC guidelines
• Complete mandatory yearly education for employment
• Take on responsibilities as timekeeper or patient scheduler
• Assist Manager in departmental projects supporting clerical needs
• Precept new employees

Requirements

• High School Diploma

• High School Diploma
• Entry level

Nice to Have

• Clinical experience in hospital-based setting
