Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department at MidState Medical Center, utilizing evidence-based practices and a patient-centered approach. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Utilize evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures
- Develop a plan of care using the nursing process
- Meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family
Requirements
- Current RN license in state of Connecticut
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume environment
- Self-directed in the management of patient care
Qualifications
- BSN (preferred)
- Previous Emergency Nursing experience preferred
