Revenue Manager

About This Role

Lead revenue accounting functions for a rapidly scaling, PE-backed SaaS leader as a Revenue Manager, driving ASC 606 compliance, supporting M&A integration, and overseeing complex revenue across multiple business lines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 2 (Senior Revenue Accountant + Analyst) and oversee technical revenue operations.
• Lead ASC 606 revenue recognition, contract reviews, and judgments across diverse business lines (SaaS, services, data, group purchasing, fintech).
• Support purchase accounting and integration for recent and future acquisitions.
• Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards and GAAP/IFRS.
• Drive process improvements and automation in revenue workflows.
• Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations on deal structuring and revenue analysis.
• Prepare revenue-related disclosures and support audit and compliance activities.
• Contribute to month-end close and financial reporting related to revenue.

Requirements

• 7+ years in revenue accounting
• Strong technical ASC 606 expertise
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong US GAAP and revenue recognition standards
• Local to the Boston area for hybrid work (3 days/week onsite)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years in revenue accounting with strong technical ASC 606 expertise; public/private mix preferred (open to strong public profiles).
