About This Role

This is a 100% remote Customer Service Representative role supporting a Retirement Services team. The specialist will handle inbound calls from financial professionals and customers regarding retirement products and services, including new business applications, policy transactions, and general account assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Handle 25–50 inbound calls per day related to retirement products and services
  • Support financial partners, agents, and customers via phone
  • Respond to inquiries regarding new business applications, in-force policy transactions, product information, and service-related issues
  • Accurately document customer interactions using Salesforce and other internal systems
  • Navigate multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Handle escalated calls involving retirement fund impacts, beneficiary questions, or complex financial concerns

Requirements

  • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • 1+ year of basic computer experience (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams)
  • Strong soft skills: rapport building, empathy, active listening, handling difficult conversations
  • Reliable work-from-home internet (Minimum 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload, Fiber, cable, or DSL)

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of customer service experience in retail, service industry, or similar customer-facing roles. 1+ year of basic computer experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.

Nice to Have

  • Call center experience
  • Previous experience supporting life insurance, retirement, or benefits products
  • Financial services customer support experience
