Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will generate sales by leveraging passion for technology and customer service to expand Verizon's network, learn customer needs, and provide solutions. You will continuously develop through training and potentially grow your customer base through outbound calls and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution
• Close sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
• Potential to grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
