Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will engage with customers, identify their needs, and provide technological solutions to expand Verizon's network and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and customer service
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking relevant questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations for a complete sales solution
• Close sales using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with tech solutions
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory operations
• Potentially grow customer base via outbound calls and text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside the store to expand loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
