About This Role

As a Retail Sales Associate at Verizon, you will drive retail sales by leveraging your passion for technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network. You will identify customer needs and provide comprehensive tech solutions.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking probing questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete sales solution
• Close sales using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
• Potential to grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience (work or military)
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
• Bilingual Fluency in English and Spanish
