Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will drive retail sales by leveraging your passion for technology and customer service, expanding the Verizon network, and continuously developing your sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by expanding the Verizon network
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete sales solution
• Close sales by fulfilling customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
• Potentially grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand loyal customer base

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
• Bilingual Spanish
