Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will drive sales by connecting customers with cutting-edge technology and exceptional service, expanding the Verizon network, and continuously developing your sales and operational skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by building connections and asking insightful questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide complete top-down sales solutions
• Close sales using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
• Grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside the store to expand loyal customer base at off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant experience (work or military)
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Openness to pick up additional shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
