Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate, you will drive sales by connecting with customers, understanding their needs for cutting-edge technology, and providing total sales solutions.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network
• Uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking relevant questions
• Position product insights and recommend solutions to provide complete top-down sales solutions
• Close sales using effective communication skills to fulfill customer needs with tech solutions
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
• Grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
