About This Role

As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you’ll unlock your full potential and achieve sales success within one of our retail stores by connecting customers to cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by fostering a passion for cutting-edge technology and delivering exceptional customer service
• Uncover customer needs by building connections and asking insightful questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to deliver comprehensive sales solutions
• Close sales using effective communication skills to provide simple and intuitive tech solutions
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
• Potentially grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand the loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant experience (work or military)
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
