Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will drive retail sales by connecting customers with cutting-edge technology and exceptional service, continuously developing your sales skills and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by expanding the Verizon network through passion for technology and customer service
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with complete sales solutions
• Close sales using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
• Grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Openness to pick up additional shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
