Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will drive retail sales by leveraging your passion for technology and providing exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network. You will identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions to meet them.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by expanding the Verizon network through cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete sales solution
• Close sales by fulfilling customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
• Grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside the store to expand loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
