Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

As a Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will drive retail sales of technology products and services by connecting with customers and uncovering their needs. You will continuously develop your sales and operational skills through ongoing training to expand the Verizon network.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by expanding the Verizon network through technology passion and customer service.
• Learn and uncover customer needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide complete top-down sales solutions.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions like merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community outside the store, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events, to expand your loyal customer base.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
• Bilingual Fluency in English and Spanish
