About This Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will drive sales and expand the Verizon network by passionately engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing intuitive technology solutions. This role offers opportunities for continuous development, customer base growth, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by building connections and asking effective questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to offer complete top-down sales solutions
• Close sales using strong communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions
• Continuously develop skills through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions like merchandising and inventory
• Potentially grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in products/services
• Engage with the community outside the store to expand the loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant work or military experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
