About This Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will drive sales by connecting with customers, understanding their technology needs, and positioning suitable product solutions within a Verizon retail store. This role involves continuous self-development through training and expanding customer reach through outbound communication and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking probing questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide complete sales solutions.
• Close sales using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory operational functions.
• Potentially grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community outside the store, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events, to expand the loyal customer base.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant work or military experience

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
