Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

As a part-time Retail Sales Associate at Verizon, you will leverage your passion for technology and customer service to drive sales, expand the Verizon network, and continuously develop your sales and operational skills. This role offers the opportunity to uncover customer needs, provide solution recommendations, and engage with the community to expand your customer base.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales using exceptional customer service and technology passion to expand the Verizon network
• Learn and uncover customer needs by creating connections and asking probing questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete sales solution
• Close sales by fulfilling customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions using strong communication skills
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
• Potentially grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside the store, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events, to expand loyal customer base

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant experience (work or military)
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
