About This Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will drive sales by connecting customers with cutting-edge technology and providing exceptional service in a Verizon retail store. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, positioning product solutions, and fostering community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by connecting customers with cutting-edge technology and delivering exceptional customer service
• Expand the Verizon network by building customer relationships and understanding their needs
• Position product insights and recommend solutions to provide comprehensive top-down sales solutions
• Close sales by fulfilling customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions using effective communication skills
• Continuously develop skills through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory
• Engage with the community outside the store to expand the loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events
• Place outbound calls and send text messages to current Verizon customers interested in products and services

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant work experience and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
