Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

This role involves generating retail sales by understanding customer needs, positioning cutting-edge technology and solutions, and closing sales for products and services. You will also develop yourself through ongoing training and engage with the community to expand your customer base.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and exceptional customer service
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking probing questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide complete sales solutions
• Close sales by fulfilling customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions using communication skills
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions like merchandising and inventory
• Grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
