About This Role

As a Retail Sales Associate at Verizon, you will drive retail sales by leveraging your passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network, uncover customer needs, and provide complete sales solutions. You will continuously develop your skills through ongoing training and engage with the community to grow your customer base.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales using passion for technology and exceptional customer service
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking questions
• Position product insights and solution recommendations for top-down sales solutions
• Close sales using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with tech solutions
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory
• Potentially grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages
• Engage with the community outside of the store, including off-site Verizon sponsored events

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
