About This Role

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will drive retail sales by leveraging your passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network. You will identify customer needs, provide solution recommendations, and close sales with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales using exceptional customer service and technology knowledge
• Identify customer needs by asking appropriate questions and building connections
• Propose product insights and solution recommendations for a comprehensive sales solution
• Close sales by fulfilling customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions
• Continuously develop skills through ongoing training in operational functions like merchandising and inventory
• Expand customer base by making outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers
• Engage with the community, including off-site Verizon sponsored events, to build a loyal customer base

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
• 1+ years of relevant work experience
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a commission-based environment
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
• Customer service experience
