About This Role

This role involves assisting customers and maintaining store appearance, focusing on customer service, register operations, merchandising, and store maintenance for a bargain outlet.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer entering and exiting the store
• Operate the register accurately and efficiently
• Be knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements to assist customers
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs
• Maintain a neat and organized front end work area
• Assist with receiving trucks, pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders
• Maintain the cleanliness of the overall store

Requirements

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills
• Positive attitude and ability to interact well with customers and Associates
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
