Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

The Retail Sales Associate assists customers, maintains store appearance, and handles all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance. Associates are expected to embody Ollie's core values while contributing to sales and customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer with Ollie's "Yes I Care, Yes I Can" approach to build long term customer loyalty.
• Accurately and efficiently manage cash register transactions.
• Be an Ollie's store and inventory expert, knowledgeable about weekly deals and product value.
• Assist with freight logistics and merchandise products.
• Maintain the store appearance.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• A positive attitude and team player mentality who wants to delight and serve customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Happy to train new Associates who may not have 6 months of prior retail experience, indicating no prior experience is required.
