Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

This role is responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience by performing retail duties such as cashiering, merchandising, replenishment, receiving, and e-commerce fulfillment, while embodying the company's values.

Responsibilities

• Model company values in all actions, communication and decision-making
• Maintain store standards by assisting with stocking, merchandising, recovering the store, and completing operational tasks
• Consistently create a positive customer experience through sales and customer service programs
• Educate and enroll customers into BevMo!’s ClubBev Program and the Gopuff App
• Use product knowledge to make product recommendations and provide solutions like substitutions or special orders
• Pick and pack e-commerce items for dispatch to customers, ensuring accuracy
• Receive product from vendors, verifying physical count against purchase orders/invoices and resolving discrepancies
• Merchandise product on the sales floor and in the warehouse according to standards
• Conduct cycle counts to identify loss and improve in-stock position
• Manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with ‘FIFO’ practices

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Ability to communicate concisely and clearly
• Ability to motivate individuals to achieve goals and clarify performance expectations
• Systematic approach to improving workflow effectiveness and efficiency
• Ability to work interdependently and collaboratively with others

Qualifications

• Retail, e-commerce or warehouse experience is preferred
